Parents getting into fights at Chuck E. Cheese's

Calling All Cars: Trouble at Chuck E. Cheese's, Again

That touched off a fight between more than 10 people, in which participants punched and screamed at each other. One woman removed the red rope that marks the entrance queue and handed it to another woman, who swung the metal clip attached to it at others involved in the incident.

I'd pay $10 to video that and upload on Youtube.
Instant hit and internetz fame.

They lost their liquor license over the summer. Somehow I knew you ere talking about the one by me. That place is a crap hole.

All the white (or black) trash people go there, let their kids run around, get drunk, start fights, etc. Stay far away from that place.

I'll chip in $10. Oh man, especially if someone starts braining people with that big 'Whack-a-Mole' hammer. Ooh, and then they could start chucking ski balls at each other. Oh please please come on security tape leak.

Oddly enough, Chuck E. Cheese's is one of the highest police called restaurant chains.
Something about parents + alcohol + kids + other peoples kids + pizza

I'm sure I'll get called a racist but the Brookfield, WI location had trouble as soon as the bus line was extended from the inner city out to that area. Bring in the thugs and look what happens.

There's a similar type of place further out in the suburbs that has a lot higher prices and no bus line and it doesn't have any where near the problems the CEC restaurants do in the areas easily accessible to the inner city.

The environment also brings out what security experts call the "mama-bear instinct."

I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that many mothers in CEC look like bears.

I never willingly go to a Chuck E Cheese. The last two times I had to go there to take my son to a birthday party resulted in something disgusting happening in those tubes. The first time some kid puked up their pizza. The second time some kid peed all in the tube.

Too loud, too noisy, too horrible customer service, too crappy of an environment. And these were locations that were in good parts of the northside of Atlanta.

I'd rather take my kids to Dave & Busters.

Man, that sucks for the kids. When I was that age, Chuck E Cheese's was awesome.

It was the same where I lived, it was the place to go for all of the newest arcade games. The pizza was decent, and everyone wanted to have their birthday parties there.

I dunno, when I was a young lad of the 80's it seemed like Chuckys went downhill every time I visited. Eventually it got to point none of our parents planned events or even let us go there on our own. Too many issues with violence and drugs and fights and more.

And I dont think its the atmosphere of screaming kids. Circus Circus and other similar places never seem to have this problem.

Same here. The early 80's were great, but that was in Albuquerque, NM back then.

Anyone remember Showbiz Pizza or Pistol Petes Pizza? I believe Chucky Cheese bought out Showbiz?......... not sure.

Parents these days can get f'ing looney. Just ask any junior sports referee.

WTF dude... I'll see you in the parking lot after the game. :|

The CEC that I go to in Lake Forest, CA is still nice and clean. We have gone there several dozen times and have never had a issue. The games are cheap and the atmosphere is fine. It must depend on where the CEC is located. Dave & Busters is just so expensive.

"There's a biker bar down the street, and we rarely get calls there."

The environment also brings out what security experts call the "mama-bear instinct." A Chuck E. Cheese's can take on some of the dynamics of the animal kingdom, where beasts rush to protect their young when they sense a threat.
"OMG! My offspring is in danger at Chuck E. Cheese's! MUST PROTECT!!!!"

Damn people, it's the 21st century. I think some of these folks just got pulled out of a glacier from 500,000 years ago.
So primitive.
