at first i was thinking about trying a 3000+ a64 but the majority of my gaming is done on my xbox and after using a 2.8c for a while, it seems to fit my needs perfectly.

Good system for your parents. Very nice of you. :) Only thing I would change is use Panaflo L1as all throughout the system for the least noise.

PorBleemo what kind of temps do u get with the Panaflo L1 and does it take well to a mild-mid oc?
also this may sound a little dumb but does the northwood have a locked multiplier?
