It is natural, it's just that some people get so wrapped up in the other issues with being a vegetarian that they come to view it as distasteful and thus "not natural".
Humans are omnivores. IIRC we actually subsist best on a diet similar to what our ancestors ate: whole grains, fruits, vegetables and a little lean meat thrown in here and there (whenever they could catch it

). It's eating McDonalds, cane sugar, and all the other processed sh*t we're so fond of that is technically "not natural".
How else would you explain the rise of heart disease, Type 2 (adult onset) diabetes, obesity, etc? Obviously there are factors like stress and inactivity, but our modern crap diet isn't helping.
