Lol. Bumping your head on a door frame and falling 5 feet onto concrete are two very different things.

Same thing essentially...what if I tripped and fell? The father didn't think he was putting his child in danger, just as don't when my daughter rides on my shoulders, but things happen. It was an accident, not a purpose.

Don't need to call CPS, parent should have known better. However we don't know the whole story, there is nothing showing that he was "skating around holding the kid" for a long period of time or had planned to. Maybe the kid begged him for a ride so he stupidly said sure and went without thinking. Accidents happen, and hindsight is 20/20, there are plenty of snap judgements that get made with kids and parents all the time. Sometimes those choices are wrong and you end up having a bad situation, but to think you will never make a stupid mistake/decision involving a kid is wishful thinking.

Stupid? Yes
Worthy of CPS? LOL no.
