Parenthood... random story for you

My son (2.5 yrs) likes storytime b/f he falls asleep. So I was reading him a story the other night and I was the one who fell asleep. This is not unusual. I have fallen asleep while reading Dr. Suess many times, and am usually shaken awaken at once. What was unusual about last night was that I fell asleep and somehow keep talking. hahah I know this because I had somehow said (we were on T in Dr. Suesses ABCs, which has a picture of Ten Turtles in a Tree) that the turtles were in a tree having a halloween party. My kid knows what halloween is, and he knows what a party is, and he got very excited and screamed in my ear. I snapped out of it. It was a strange feeling.

I don't know why parents think that other people find these types of stories interesting. Nevertheless, a bunch of people will chime in with "Aww, cute" because it's quite rude to insult other people's children.

I think it was Craptain Crunch. 😛

Anything your child does is the most amazing thing in the world. We just want to share experiences with others. IF you ever have children you will feel the same.

I don't know why young single adults think it's chic to dislike parents and children. Lashing out at guilt induced by societal expectations I expect.

It's OK notfred. You don't have to have children. We still think you're successful, really.

This has nothing to do with my success or disliking anyone. He posted a story that was essentially "I was talking in my sleep, then my kid yelled and woke me up". You actually find that to be an interesting story?

Here's a great story for you then:
The other day I was asleep on the couch, and my phone rang. I woke up and answered it, it was my friend.

Wow, exciting.

however, if you would please note, the title had "Parent" "random" and "Story" in it. You clicked in knowing you would be able to bitch about the post. I suggest you call the proctologist as soon as you get a chance.

That is weird but cool yamahaXS. Oh and shutup Tyler and go troll elsewhere.

Yeah notfred its because we are parents.
And when you become a parent its highly likely that youll GROW UP and become aware of another world that consists of compassion and understanding. You can then relate to other people that are responsible for caring for another human being and guiding them to a good fruitful life. And while we parents couldnt survive if our children were killed grotesquely, if it was you then pfft.....

a little humor for all😀
