CoolRed, I was going to help you but it seems that I was too late. This happened to me awhile ago, but there was something weird about my case: My code was not 7444, but 0123. I'm kind of glad that you fixed it already, since my memory is hazy and might not have been of much help.
I know there were a lot of jerks in this thread, but it's just that time of day. Rest well in knowing that for every jerk there is an even or greater number of helpful users. Also, you should have tried General Hardware or Technical Support because there is nothing but helpful people in there. If you got really desperate, you could have tried the GameFAQS General Hardware - PS2 board.

Thanks Salvatore, the password was not the problem, I knew my password. I'm not too worried about the jerks, sure some more help would have been nice. But most of these guys have no life outside AT so i was just glad that I could give them something to do for a few minutes. I will consider it my good deed for the day. I'm not so sure about there being a greater number of helpful people. I know there are very many helpful Aters out there, but there seem to be more and more jerks out there lately. Thanks for the other suggestions though.

Thanks for your input I agree with you. What Salvatore said was not actually the answer to my problem, but at least he tried to help, and had I needed more help, its quite likely he could have helped me. Lucky for me all these great ATer's keep bumping my thread for me.

It really isn't that difficult to help this guy out. He's read the manual, obviously tried to troubleshoot but to no avail. If you know how to help the guy, help him. If you don't, save Anand some bandwidth. God forbid someone ask a question around here...

I did not get offended by the sarcasm, I was offended by the uneeded unhelpful nature of your post.
I never said I had a life outside AT you just assumed that. I do so it is true, but its also very late here, so i have nothing better I could be doing other then sleeping. And what do I care if my thread gets bumped. Like I said, at least its providing some entertainment. I mean with all the parody and other stupid thread now a days, what makes this one any worse. My problem is solved, so now we are just having a little fun. If I was in any way offended or whatever I would have just stopped posting,since I am man enough to walk away. I was just enjoying the fun.
