Parent Domain/Sub-Domain (Non trust) pooling Global Catalogs

Short story short - this company acquired another company, the domain is a child domain or a sub domain not a trust.

When a person pools the Global Catalog List - everyone can see the other domains contacts, also with public folders.

Im assuming this is because both servers are Global Catalog Servers (DC's as well obviously)

How do we block the 2 from pooling with each other? Must we put them on a trust? Etc?

How do we accomplish this as well then?

I'm assuming this is just to hide the users from the GAL, if that's the case you could modify the privileges on the default GAL so the users can not query it and than create them a new GAL using the filters you specify.

Any documentation on this - how would I specifically go about doing this?
