Is freaking awesome on my mid 2009 macbook pro.

It runs great on my 2009 MacBook (non-Pro), but is a dog on my 2009 Mini, bringing it almost to a complete stop.

I am running VMWare on my Mini now.

I'm still on Parallels 7, running Win7 on Lion. I was thinking of just skipping 8. What's the main benefit of the upgrade?
