Parallel or Sequence?

Ok, so I am working on building my own headset, as a fun learning experience, and I have two two drivers per channel. Both drivers are 32 ohm. The intended use is with a PC, using onboard audio.

I want to know what the effective difference between a 16 ohm parallel setup and a 64 ohm sequence setup would be, especially when the gain is pretty limited. Would that gap significantly affect the volume or quality of the playback?

I am using Kobitone drivers purchased from Mouser.com, and I can give links to the spec-sheets, if needed.

One would be 6 dB louder than the other. And it would require quite a lot more current.

I'd go with 64 ohms - you'd need to turn the volume up pretty high for the same output, but the bass and noise floor will be better for it.
