Paradigm Titan Speakers $114/pr. @ 6th Ave. B&M only.

I picked up 2 pairs in Woodbridge, NJ earlier today. This is the lowest i have ever seen them.

Excellent price. Are they trying to clear out inventory or something? Highly recommended to anybody who's looking for a pair of bookshelf speakers. You won't find a better-sounding pair of speakers at that price.

Most people here probably have no idea how good these speakers are....

Maybe, but the fact that it's B&M only really limits the scope of this deal. Otherwise I know I'd jump on it.

Dang! The online department refused to match their store prices!
I really wanted these speakers!

I live too far away to take advantage of this. I missed out on the elts and now this. Are there any other comparable speakers for around that price.

edit: forgot a couple sentences

You might want to keep your eye on Audiogon for used speakers.

I have built several home theater setups for friends/family with these as the fronts. There is simply no better bookshelf even at the MSRP, and at this price they are an absolute steal. I personally use Paradigm Monitor 9 floorstanding speakers as my front (they were like $800), and if you pair the Titans with a decent subwoofer, it is really hard to tell the difference between the Titans and the Monitors.

Paradigm is the polar opposite of Bose in the speaker world. They take their engineering very seriously (I think they have the largest anechoic chamber in Canada?) and use top-notch electronics components. However, their marketing and distribution strategy really limits their sales. Bose, on the other hand, sells crap paper-cone speakers at outrageous prices, but you can't walk 10ft in any mall in america without finding a Bose product.
