I recently saw a video detailing an indy game called "Papers, please", it was by Scott Manley who posts lots of gameplay videos about less mainstream games, mostly space sims and alike.
You can see the video here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGJXvUvP9pI
The basic premise is you're a border guard, you're in control of allowing or denying access to people entering the country, you have to cross reference all their documents and papers for discrepancies and catch wrong do-ers as they try to sneak across, you need a keen eye for detail and be quick at processing people to make enough money to feed your family and pay the rent.
I completed the main story in about 4 hours and really loved it, it's a fantastic little game, it starts off nice and simple and gets delightfully complex later on, like most indy games it's kind of addictive and has an intriguing "plot" that makes you want to keep playing throwing in some curve balls just as you're getting used to the mechanics.
I couldn't see any threads on this game and though it was well worth its price, i recommend people check out Scott's video to get a good idea of gameplay and consider buying it on steam.
