So asking someone for their green card when they do not have a valid form of ID issued by a government, after a crime has been committed isn't?

Hmmm.

Random guy on train...
"Papers please"

Guy involved in crime without ID asked for green card they are legally required to carry at all times.
RACIST!!!!! HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATION!!!!!

Got it.

(The only reason the professional left isn't crying is because it is the northern border.)

I'm of the opinion that anyone should be asked to prove that they are in the country legally at any time, any where, for any reason. Whatever the color, creed, or sexual orientation.

At the DMV registering your car? Prove you're here legally.
In the welfare line? Prove you're here legally.
Stopped for running a red light? Prove you're here legally.
Arrested for growing pot or selling drugs? Prove you're here legally.

It's not a human rights violation, it's common-fucking-sense.

I applaud them for doing a great job, hopefully this will spread to every state and county in this great nation of ours. We really need is to devote all policeman into the work of finding and eliminating illegal immigrants, then our crime rate will plummet to near zero percent and the economy of this ravaged country will rebound once again! forward ... for our greatness!!

Getting rid of illegal immigrants would go a LONG way toward reducing crime and helping the country to rebound and become profitable again.

Are people in the US able to collect welfare and be arrested for crimes etc. Without ever showing any ID?
