Paper wasting

Friend (really!) has a Windows 10 Lenovo portable with a HP P2015dn laser printer connected by USB.

Randomly the following page prints. All by itself. No idea why. Ideas?

1. Open the Devices and Printers folder, right-click the HP UPD, and then select Properties.
2. Click the Device Settings tab.
3. In the Installable Options section, set Printer Status Notification to either Enable or Disable.
4. Click OK.

There is no Printer Status Notification . Just Duplex Unit option.

You probably was using driver that comes with the OS. Download newest driver that should have more settings/features that you can change.

Installed HP driver. Many more Installable Options but not the one mentioned. Time will tell if this driver stays silent,
