Paper shreds=white powder

I got a package and it had tons of paper shreds for softening it, and after getting out all the stuff i had this white powder looking stuff on my hands like sugar. Is it usual for paper shreds to have that? yes i know i'm prolly paranoid but better safe than sorry.

1. be non paranoid and get it and say "bah its nothing, then kill over dead a couple days later, then we can all hear your name on the tele when they say today ------- died of anthrax. OR

2. Find out, get the medicene and be A ok and live many years i think i'll choose number 2, but thanks for some of you that helped.

Let's think logically here. How many people have died from Anthrax? 2?
How many people die in car accidents every year? Hundreds of thousands...?

Yes, paper is dusty. After doing several thousand inserts today at the newspaper where I work, the counter was covered in a fine white dust.

Anthrax is cream/brown btw.
