I have acrobat 6 professional and I'm using paper capture with the Formatted Text and Graphics function, unfortunately it seems to be pretty retarded and it isn't saving me any space. I'm taking a service manual and I'm trying to improve the speed of loading and reduce the file size (they go hand in hand). I'm wondering if Acrobat 7+ are any better at the Paper Capture function with Formatted Text and Graphics setting. The searchable image works good enough but I want to reduce the size of the file which I believe doing the Formatted Text and Graphics function is what would be needed.
So my question is, Is acrobat 7+ any better at doing paper capture with the Formatted Text and Graphics setting or is it pretty much as stupid as it has ever been?
