Papa John's FTW

Papa John seems like a totally stand up dude, it's too bad his pizza is the worst fucking pizza I've ever had or else I'd support him more.
 
It's pretty cool that they're doing this. I haven't had the pizza in years since we moved, and there aren't any locations near us. But I remember the pizza being OK. The garlic butter sauce was freakin awesome. I used to order their pizza just for the sauce.

Schnatter is kinda a douche. He's got great tastes in cars and airplanes but he's known as a douche. He's damn rich so he can be a douche. He does a lot to support Louisville so I give him that. But personally, he's a douche. Chuck's a pretty good guy though.
 
Papa Johns has some great deals now too, like an X-Large w/ 3 toppings for $11.99 or something like that.

I love me some Papa's.

Yes I do. I worked for him for about 3 years back when he only had under 500 stores. Great taste in cars including a BMW 850 and a Viper. He's a big fan of sports cars. Doesn't like public speaking or being on camera much.

Little off topic, but anyone else remember when PJ's used to put the pepperoni underneath the cheese? That was the best.
 
PJ's had good pizza when they were starting out in the 80s. They opened a store in Peoria, IL back in '88 where I lived at the time and the food was fantastic as was the service. Back then they still had the mom & pop shop feel, nothing like they are now.

That said, I don't really buy chain pizza for the most part. On the rare occasion that I do it's PJ's. The last few experiences I've had with Pizza Hut have been terrible resulting in me barfing my brains out.

I don't have pizza that often, maybe once a month and it typically comes from a local place down the street. I've been eating there for about 12 years, great food. Their prices are similar to chains and they deliver which makes it an easy choice.

Then I take it you haven't tasted Little Ceaser or Cici pizza. I've almost vomited eating Little Ceasers before. They didn't cook it enough and the dough was still soft. Horrible cheap pizzas.

you remind me of the judges on Top Chef who are eating the contestants meals saying "this is the worst meal i've ever had"
