Hey guys just thought I'd share some panoramas I stitched together of a recent trip to Florence and Rome.

All pics were put together using autostitch. Images have been cropped and auto adjusted for contrast and color. Warning! image sizes are huge!

Florance Main City D40

Here are 2 more panoramas I put together from a previous trip to Austria. The view is from the top of Hohensalzburg Castle in Salzburg.

View of Untersberg Mountain.. aka The Sound of Music Mountain D40

The city of Salzburg D40

I'm planning to do a little rasterbator action on the Rome and first Florence shot. Please let me know what you think.

Beautiful shots! Brings back some great/mixed memories. We went through Florence on our honeymoon 4 years ago but unfortunately I was sick the entire time I was in the city. Barely left the hotel room :(

Many guys on their honeymoon could only dream to never leave the hotel room...look on the bright side!

What filter were you using? I always have a hard time combating smog, no matter the time of day.

Unfortunately barfing non-stop for 48 hours kinda puts a kink in any of that business :)

Beautiful pictures. I love both cities and want to go back to Florence so badly. When were these taken? I was last there in late 2009 and at least in the forum, I can see that the dig next to the Curia is still being worked on and I also noticed that the ugly "modern art" they interspersed among the ruins is gone.

These pictures were taken last March actually. I'm living in Italy at the moment so I defiantly plan on going back. So far I've enjoyed Rome the most with Florence and then Venice.

I'll probably head back to Venice this weekend if the weather holds up to see what kind of panorama I can get there. I'm thinking from the Rialto bridge early morning or late sunset once the sun gets behind the buildings.

Were going back to Europe in a few months, but not to Italy this time unfortunately. Doing apartments in Scotland and England, should be a good trip.

Thanks for the site rec, i'll check it out.
