Panel Differences in HP laptop tx2500z

So as you may know HP released the new HP TouchSmart tx2z Multi-Touch Convertible Tablet recently which is pretty much the tx2500z in a new case.
the only major difference is the HP added multi touch to the finger input on the panel.
My question is do you think this is actually a new panel, or just new driver/firmware??

Like could a tx2500z be made dual touch capable with some tweaks?

You may be able to identify the touch pad maker and maybe even the model by searching HP's site for the drivers or in their listing of parts for both models in the tech section. Once you know who makes it, if they're different, you can probably find the capabilities of each.

Good luck. 🙂

good idea,
HP hasnt even posted a full spec sheet or manual for the tx2z so guess i get to wait

I still couldnt find a specific model/maker for just the actual panel, it is always bundeled with the entire top shell of the laptop, which i know is different between models.
