Pandora pop ups

I use Firefox and Adblock, but Pandora has these annoying friendly pop ups that offer hints and tips. Well after clicking the X on them I still get them all the time no matter what I do. They are very annoying. Is there any add-on that will elimante them? I'm also using Greasemonkey, so if there is a script that can get rid of those pesky hint/tip pop ups without breaking Pandora that would be great.

So I found a setting in Firefox in About:config called dom.popup_maximum. I set that sucker to 0 and so far no pop ups in Pandora! Keep in mind that if you use this setting that it can be destructive to sites that use pop ups for log ins or Ebay, etc.

You might be able to deal with it using a custom rule in ABP. Might be less damaging that way long term.

I do have the element hiding helper. I just found this /include/radioAdEmbed.html and added it if that don't work I'll try element hiding helper.

I don't get any pop-ups with Pandora and Firefox. Do you have NoScript installed? I didn't look to see what NS blocks, but that's the only other add-on I would think makes a difference for me.

I'd assume this is something you've already done, but I have to point it out. In the "Settings" for your account, there is a section called "Notices". The first checkbox is "Send me personalized recommendations and tips". That's unchecked, right?

Well so far so good. Haven't played Pandora enough yet though, but i did see one pop up in the album art about thumbs up or down. This isn't ADs. I don't see ADs it's the friendly pop ups.
