I have been giving this a try and so far it seems to be low resource and catching the latest stuff pretty consistently. The main drawback is that the pc has to be online to be fully protected. It is basically antivirus without the download of definition requirements and updates that usually make such programs less effective.

I agree. Only problem is the Panda people. They have been hounding me almost weekly to switch over to Panda from Norton. I told them due to our closed environment, we have very little anti virus needs and we purchase our anti virus pretty much to whoever is cheaper and that Costco has Norton 3 users for $20. They agreed to match the price and even buyout the Norton that I currently have left. When I declined, they said they would throw in 3 more free licenses for me to give out as gifts. This brings their price down to less than $4 per license per year. I'm thinking about changing!
