I just got Panda AV Platinum, as my title says. I just left the Norton and McAfee bandwagon and followed my friends advice to go Panda. Now, I haven't seen any threads about this AV program, but hopefully someone here knows about it.
It says that it supports POP3 email clients. So, how do I configure to check them? I use Eudora 5.1, so would I check the email for virii everything I get an email? I don't know where to look to learn how to configure it.
Two: Do I get upgrades for free? In an email with my username and password, it says that it expires March 14, 2003 (a year from now). So when that rolls around, I can get anymore upgrades, right? What about virus definitions? I hope this is a self-explanatory question. I just didn't like the fact that when I tried Norton or McAfee, you have to subscribe.
Anyways, here's a page comparing Panda to Norton and McAfee: Link to comparison
I sure hope it was $29.95 well spent...
