Panda AV 2008 Preventing Internet Access

I searched for this, but couldn't find anything. Sorry if this has been covered.

I started using Panda AV 2008 a few days ago, just on the 30 day trial, and it's been working fine. In fact, I was getting pretty impressed with it.

This morning, it did another automatic update and now I have no internet access at all if Panda is turned on. Turn Panda off, full internet access. Turn it on, no access at all. So, I'm pretty sure it's Panda, not something else.

Anybody got any ideas or has anyone had this problem?

Panda AV (AV only, NOT the AV + Firewall version) 2008.
Win XP Pro. SP2.
 
I experienced almost the exact same issue with an older version of Panda Internet security and never did figure out exactly what caused it, however I was able to fix it by completely uninstalling Panda including manually deleting all related directories and then re-installing it fresh.
