I use a program called All Seeing Eye which obtains various information from game servers (such as Battlefield 1942) like the ping response time, users logged in, and settings. Once I installed Panda antivirus, the program stopped functioning as it should. When I try to refresh information, an error popus up that my firewall might be blocking it ad a possible solution is to adjust a setting so the program stops using ICMP. But once you do this, the functionality of the program is severely crippled, you dont get ping times anymore, and pings coincidentally use ICMP protocol. So this leads me to beleive Panda Antivirus Titanium 2004 is meddling around with my system which crippled my ICMP traffic and it does not seem to allow me to diable this feature, let alone even tell me about it or ask my permission! Once I uninstalled Panda, the problem went away- so what's the deal here?
