Pancake/waffle batter in a Redi Whip like aerosol can. Saw it in the grocery store tonight and picked up a can. Spray on pancakes for breakfast tomorrow morning!

Food technology knows no limits.

But it's so much effort to push the nozzle!
Give these a try.

We brought one of these camping once. We were going to buy mix-with-water pancake mix, then saw this. It was like, surrounded by a halo as we gazed at it.

Nothing like eggs, bacon and pancakes on a crisp morning after rolling out of the tent. :D

Was awesome.

Awesome. I'll be looking to give this thing a shot next time I'm at the grocery store.

It's not like mixing together milk, eggs, flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar was all that difficult anyway.

I'll stick to homemade pancakes. I can't imagine what that shit tastes like.

how big is the can, i can't see fitting much pancake batter into a can, pancake batter is pretty dense.

Costco had these in a pack of 3 cans for about $7. We decided to try them. The next morning the frying pan came out and we were ready for pancakes. The batter sprayed out and the pancake started to form. It flipped perfectly and when golden brown, it went into my plate with syrup. The first bite had me saying; "somebody come taste this?" We just couldn't identify the funny taste. After a few more bites trying to identify it, we gave up and made eggs for breakfast. We decided the pancakes were certainly eatable, but not likable. We threw out the one remaining can and the two new cans in the fridge and decided never to purchase these again. We prefer the Aunt Jemimah old fashion where you mix in the milk, eggs, etc. We take our pancakes serious and the pancake batter in a can is not serious. The flavor is way off and will not return into our home. We have had pancakes at Dennys, IHOP, Waffle House, and other places, and without question, the batter in the can is the worst. Buy at your own risk.

They taste INCREDIBLE! They're light and fluffy, only downside is the PPP ratio (price per pancake) is retardly high compared to using Bisquick, but the end result was some of the tastiest pancakes I've ever made. Can also doesn't make many which sucks. But I'd take these over any "homemade" any day of the week.

The Lord Joe Pesci didn't use aerosol pancakes, and neither should you. This sounds like a freaking heart attack.

I just don't get it.
Pancakes from scratch aren't that dammed difficult. (My wife manages to get them right every time.) :p

For camping, we used to take either bisquick or krusteaz boxed mix.

Meh, I prefer my homemade pancakes to just about any pancake box mix.

It's all a matter of finding a recipe you like and sticking with it. I prefer my pancakes to be slightly on the sweet side with a little whole wheat flour in it. I can't get that with pancake mixes... they're generally on the salty side with just normal white flour.

The fact that premade pancake mixes exist BAFFLES me. It's milk eggs and flour. How do you fuck that up?

FYI, this stuff:

1. Stinks as pancake batter
2. Is AWESOME as waffle batter
3. Is 100% organic

I use this with Jimmy Dean sausage mix (just add eggs - frozen mix of sausage, peppers, potatoes, etc.) when I'm feeling uber lazy about dinner :D

So, tried them this morning.

First, you need to shake the can VERY well. The first pancake I squirted out was a bit runny coming out of the can and I could see swirls that looked like the ingredients weren't well mixed (and I did shake it). Once I gave the can a much more violent shake, the batter came out thicker and well mixed.

The texture was good, light and fluffy.

Now to the taste. The best pancakes I have ever had, you could eat plain and they were delicious. These pancakes didn't have much of any taste to them. They didn't taste strange like a previous poster mentioned, they didn't really taste at all.

As far as convenience goes, it was great. Shake the crap out of the can and squirt. No bowls, no mixing.

I don't eat a lot of pancakes but I grade this product as average, at best, for taste, but extremely easy and convenient. I think most people would be batter off (see what I did there?) buying one of the pre-made bags of pancake mix available at the grocery store.

I think that people simply aren't aware how simple it is to make pancakes from scratch, and they won't listen if you tell them that it's simple. Even Aunt Jemima costs a lot for what's in the box.
