Panasonic updated their 2.4ghz cordless phone line

They released a bunch of new phones -they all look like futuristic versions of their older Gigarange Extreme models. Hereis a pic.

i dont understand the need for more than 900MHz...i mean i can walk up the street with my 900MHz and its crystal clear. if you wanna go any further get a damn cell phone! lol

I wonder if the new phones are true 2.4ghz digital spread spectrum phones. I remember the 1st generation of these phones created a big uproar cause they werent.
