I purchased my ST60 when they first released. A few months into owning it I got a persistent colored bar across the bottom 1/3 of the screen horizontally. I contacted Panasonic, they sent a local repair rep out, he diagnosed a bad panel and they replaced it.
Now, over 2 years later, I have something similar.
Left side of the screen, 2 inches from edge. 1 line, about 1/16th of an inch wide going vertically. At the top it is a bright blue distorted line and as it lowers it turns into a more yellowish hue. It appears on all inputs, from my receiver and from the direct HDMI ports. It appears from my Apple TV to my Mac as well as the internal OSD without any inputs.
What can I do? I'll contact Panasonic soon but I doubt they'll help with a model TV that is out of warranty and no longer being made.
How expensive are these type of panels? Is it worth fixing? Can I do anything else to troubleshoot this?
