Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 vs Nikon Coolpix L100

Which would you suggest? Both are priced at my $300 or less budget

I would choose the Panasonic FZ28. it has a higher zoom 18x and has the added benefit of a viewfinder.

nikon p&s sucks

The FZ28 is a good P&S. I had one for a while. Great fun to use the 18x zoom; IQ is very good (for it's class) and handling is decent.
I'd pick it over the Nikon because all the Nikon P&S models I've tried have been lousy.
