Panasonic KX-MB781 All-in-one Laser Printer/Fax/Copier/Scanner

Fry's DFW? Does that mean you bought it at the local Fry's store? I haven't seen this machine in any newspaper ads for the local Fry's stores. But if such an ad exists, I suggest the following:

See if it's in stock at your local BestBuy store. If it's available, buy it and keep your receipt. After an appropriate waiting period (to avoid any arguments), take your receipt and the Fry's ad to the BestBuy Customer Service desk and ask for the 110% price guarantee. (You can only get the extra 10% if you have already purchased the item; if you haven't already purchased it, they will only do a 100% price match.) You'll save an extra $15 plus tax.

I assume that this machine has all of the virtues of a laser printer. How are the reviews?

I don't mean to thread-crap, but I just bought an Epson Stylus CX9400 inkjet all-in-one for $60 plus tax after rebate by getting a price match at Staples (who offer a $40 MIR) with the local Fry's ad for $99.98. It was on page 3 in Friday's ad. Obviously, comparing an inkjet printer to a laser printer is like comparing apples and oranges, but the Epson machine also serves as a nice photo printer. I would have preferred a laser all-in-one if money wasn't an issue, but I didn't want to spend over $75.

The most important question to ask when buying a printer, is not how much the printer will cost you to buy; but how much will the ink cost to replace and how much will it yield?
