I've used razors all my life but I always had bumps so I thought maybe an electric shaver would help so I bought an electric shaver, Panasonic ES-GA20. The problem is that it doesn't shave good at all... I didn't even expect a close shave but this is just so bad! Especially my neck. Maybe I'm doing sth wrong? I read a few online articles but they didn't help so can anybody help me?

Electric shavers will never provide as much smoothness as a razor, AFAIK.
It does take a little adjustment period anyway.

Try an old fashioned safety razor if you haven't already. I tried everything and I used to always have problems with bumps until I switched.

Have you tried going over the poorly shaved areas again and again? If it hasn't worked well, can you get a refund or exchange?

Lucky for you, i actually teach English so

I posted a confirming link for your edification. Your use of a learning dictionary for non-English speakers makes reference to it as "informal" and "non-standard" which, as any actual teacher of English knows means it was cited there to help those poor souls understand semi-literates tragically let down by their high school English teachers. Don't be that guy.

I just needed help that's all

On this, we well agree, which is good.

Why not? You're a self-proclaimed English teacher and grammar may well be the only more interesting topic than how you might overcome the tragic shortcomings of the Panasonic ES-GA20, a quest so epic that you joined a computer tech forum today for the sole purpose of asking about a goddamn razor in its Off Topic sub-forum because . . . where else?

That's a move so seemingly off the wall that it immediately triggers our "stealth troll' spidey sense that you are preparing to subsequently direct us to a site that you are in no way affiliated with which heartily recommends the Great Wall Industrial Warren #47's Chinese clone, now with built in bluetooth and GPS (allow 4-7 weeks for shipping.)

It didn't help that you suddenly became an English teacher when caught out on the all important good/well grammatical distinction. ;)

Other than that, welcome to ATOT! :D

Electric razors are awful

I wouldn't buy a single one of them

Were your parents or teachers correcting ur grammar all the time when u were a kid?
I'm sorry not everyone is rich like u, I have money problems that's why I have to somehow work with this shaver and I can't afford to buy a new one.
I created this thread bc I saw a similar one on this site. I'm sorry that u've encountered trolls before but I'm not one, What's more, I've asked this question on other forums too.
