Panasonic DMP-BD30K has awesome Upconversion

I demo'd a friend's Panasonic BD30 the other day and tried out a DVD movie on it. WOW! The upconversion is even better than my Oppo upconverting DVD player! I thought the Oppo was "it" for DVD upconversion, but the Panasonic totally blows it away. There is a visible difference in quality from my Oppo to the Panasonic. I don't know what kind of algorithm they're using in there, but it's amazing lol. So just FYI if you're in the market, you don't need a separate upconverter to play your old DVD discs It's currently $400 on Amazon:

When you say demo-ed does that mean on their TV or yours?

Which Oppo? The 981, I believe it. The 983, I'd be a little surprised...
