quick features:

270 degree articulating LCD (first for a production SLR)(fixed for OdiN)
SSWF dust buster (the only one that works)
Leica Vario Elmar 14-50 f/3.5-5.6 OIS kit lens (loses the cool aperture ring)
much more conventional styling (and lighter weight) than the leica-inspired brick it replaces
live view with contrast detect AF (though it still has to drop the mirror for exposure, and contrast AF only works with two lenses atm)
10 MP sensor
$1300 SRP (with lens, body isn't available separately)

about time. I was disappointed by the Leica inspired camera. It looked small in the picture, but was huge and hard to hold.

all i know is that it's such a poor seller that they're practically giving it away if you buy that lens (which is an f'ing fantastic lens)

nice looking camera, will be interesting to see what kind of accessories they put out for it, and if they'll be easier to come across than the car audio accessories which are impossible to find :)

if it has a battery grip I'd consider, I want to get a DSLR this looks pretty nice.

Stopped reading at "Venus Engine III".

I wish Panasonic would give me a few hours inside the factory where they manufacture the Venus Engine. I would bring my hammer to make sure there were no survivors.
