Panasonic KX-TG7644M

$84.99 after coupon code EMCJJKB72 (exp.11/14) with free shipping

Difference between this and the $70 deal is 4 handsets versus 3. Oh yeah, and Newegg only charges taxes in some states, while Office Depot probably charges taxes in all (except for states like Oregon).

Deal dead, back to regular price.

Panasonic KX-TG7643M $69.99 with free shipping, plus tax.

This is just like the old deal, but with only 3 wireless handsets instead of 4 and for $15 less.

Deal dead, out of stock.

Links up to two cell phones, so you can use these cordless phones with your cell phone alongside your landline/VoIP!

Four DECT 6.0 1.9GHz cordless handsets
Bluetooth powered Link-to-Cell
Bluetooth support for headsets
Uses AAA rechargeable batteries
Supports different ring tones so you know which cell phone is ringing
Battery backup in base - phones work in power outage
talking caller ID, 3050 contacts, sync with cell phone contacts
Panasonic product page

Wow, where's the kitchen sink? IMO this is better than the last deal I posted on cordless phones. In fact, I'm going to refuse the package (ordered last deal, arrives tomorrow, already OK'd with Newegg) and get this one.

My brother has been recommending the Panasonic DECT phones to me for years, I've just been too lazy to replace my low-tech corded phones. Maybe now I'll finally move on from the 20th century :)

Does this link BT Phone; so that when your cellphone rings, it also rings to the cordless? Or is it just for syncing contacts?

From the NE link.

Phonebook Transfer
Transfer up to 600 names and numbers from your cell phone to the built-in handset directory via Bluetooth.

Charge your cell phone where it gets the best reception
Simply place and charge your cell phone in an area of your home with the best reception and forget it. Calls to your cell phone will be routed to your home phone handsets so you won't miss cell phone calls.

Link up to 2 Cell Phones
You can register a second cell phone and assign it a distinctive ring tone, so when your home phone rings, you'll know who is being called.

Yes, once linked when your cell phone rings, you can answer with the cordless phones. Supposedly you can also make outgoing calls using your cell phone as well. Great for those with tons of rollover minutes or free evening/weekends.

Didn't even know I was looking for this.

Me either. I ordered one. :)

The original deal doesn't have some of the features this one has.

Bluetooth for headsets and syncing phone books to cell phones
Using up to two cell phones as second/third lines

Thanks ZAP.

Yet another thing I needed that I didn't know I needed. :)

Living out in a rural area, bouncing around in the house on the cell phone usually gives me some signal loss. I hope these guys will counter that. I'm hoping to use the cells as lines 1 and 2, as I have no land line.

I don't know if it will work that way. Mine said "no line" on the display when powered up, but w/o the phone line plugged in.

Hmmmmm. That might not work as I had hoped then. Guess I'll see when they arrive.

If you're after the 3 handset version at OD, you can get it much cheaper if you PM the price at Staples.com and apply the $25 off $75 coupon to the order (google $1.89 25$ off 75$ staples.com coupon).

Here's the steps that I used from another site:

LEX2's experience when using coupon (just be sure to use a $25 off $75 (NOT the $25 off $100):
1. add item and filler ($5+, I went with the 8GB PNY flash drive for $10) to cart
2. log in to Staples
3. add coupon
4. start checkout, confirm the $25 coupon was applied (do not pay yet)
5. initiate online chat
6. politely request for pricematch (they ask for competitor's store name, Staples item#, lowest price, your zip code)
7. agent should confirm pricematch and ask that you complete your purchase
8. agent will ask for your order #
9. agent applied the entire difference between full staples price of $129.99 and the $69.99 (which comes to $60+tax)
10. The credit gets applied within 3 business days.

My final price for the phone, flash drive and coupon was just shy of $60.

Hey, to clarify, can this system handle a landline call and a cell call at the same time?
Only a true geek can figure this one out with system in hand:)

I did find some Amazon reviews, and it seems a few people have had success with this approach. I guess it should work.

And, even after only ordering the thing yesterday, I received it already today.

Sweet!

HOT! I've seriously been failing to cash in on hot deals lately. :'( Heck I even purchased a number of notebook computers forgetting about 5% Shop Discover cashback.

IDK. Would be interesting to find out.
