Looks to be around $510-$520 everywhere.

I would appreciate any opinions on the matter. I can get similar 32" models from Vizio and Scepter for cheaper (around $440ish), but am sticking with this primarily for the brand name and the long-standingness of the company. If anyone has compelling evidence for why I shouldn't, please tell me.

Of course, to get that price, I have to buy online, which means I can't inspect before I buy, which, for LCDs, means risk of dead pixels. Does anyone have any personal experience with Panasonic's dead pixel policy.

I've Googled, and I've found info pertaining to the UK and Australia, but not for the US.

Thanks, merry Christmas.

It has an IPS panel, which should be no-contest for image quality against the lower-tier companies and also compete well against some higher-priced models from other brands.

Edit: The downside is that it's 720p, which might matter to you, and that the 1080p version is 50% more ($750 on Amazon).

You can probably find some other name brands around this price level on sale which do 1080p, but don't have an IPS panel. I'd want to look at them side by side comparing color, contrast, and motion before making a call.
