I know Panasonic is much better than VTech. 2.4GHz VTech got from CC a few weeks ago cannot beat my old Panasonic 900MHz.

Is Olympia sort of like VTech? Anyhow the price of Olympia is only one third of Panasonic.

Great phone. I have this exact phone in my kitchen and the reception / voice quality is excellent.

I have a Panasonic 900Mhz cordless, and they are very solid, quality phones. (At least compared to all of the other brands I've tried, including some Lucent models.)
