That'd be a bad guess. Plasma still has a huge picture quality advantage over LCD in most cases.

Really? Because I am seeing less and less plasmas and when I see them, they are beig sold at discounted prices.

LCDs are sold at discounted prices also.

But plasma sales are very small compared to LCD (hdtv) sales. Doesn't matter who has a better picture quality. The companies making them are trying to make a profit. If they are and they think they can continue to do so, they will probably keep making them.
