I was in Sears yesterday and noticed the CT35G25 Panasonic 35" TV on clearance for $499, normally $699. Circuit City has the same set on sale for $599.
I picked one up, and so far am very pleased with it. It lacks component video and some other features, but pretty nice for the money. The picture quality is very good. Can't wait for the Superbowl!!!
Also, there's a promotion this weekend for six months financing with no interest on TVs over $499 - YMMV since the price is $499.
