ahh nevermind...did a little looking on google for reviews. Phone appears to have too many negatives.....ahh well...tempting, but I'll wait.

My trusty 4+yr AT&T 45mhz cordless still works, abeit only within the house.....

I don't know who panned these phones, but I have one (regretfully I bought it a couple of days before Christmas so I can't take advantage of the rebate) and it works excellent. Clear as a bell and great range. Only feature I wish it had was speed dialing from the handset (program #'s under each button - my old Panasonic had that feature). You can access the phone's phonebook and dial that way but it's a bit slower.

I would reccomend this phone.

They changed the price. Now it is $89.94 after $20 rebate. Dang, and I wanted to buy one too. That is what I get when contemplating a hot deal. I need to jump on it next time...

FYI, these phones will really mess up an 802.11b network. Seimens 2.4GHz phones leak much less.

I have a Panasonic 2.4GHz (got it from ValueAmerica actually) and it's a pretty good phone, but I can't use 802.11b wireless when it's on. If the phone doesn't die soon, I'm getting an 802.11a AP...they run at 5 GHz.
