Well at normal seating distances of 10 feet or so, anything much larger than that is going to be too large for our field of vision.

Sure, if you like to watch ALL your tv in complete darkness. Projectors look nice and have their place but for most people they don't want to have to close all the shades and seal out all of the light in order to watch tv.

So when the big plasmas first came out, they were in the 10-15 k range in price. I can bet this puppy hits the 1500.00 mark by Christmas 2009. Then we will be marveling over the 220" behemoth Phiilips is bringing out,which will require people to begin to build "Theater Rooms" as additions to their homes.

If you get a decent projector, you only have to keep the room dimmed.
