I just received some new panaflows for my case/cpu. Unfortunately, I forgot to order a 3-pin tail for the cpu fan. Will the connector from the stock Athlon 64 fan fit onto the connector on the panaflow (just wondering, since I'm at work now).

Panaflo is pretty much the only one that still uses separate tails. Almost everyone else uses soldered tails. Most Panaflos you find around are actually 2-wire as they lack the tach feature. Though they are often supplied with 3-pin tails to fool the unwary. The ones with tach, their model nos. end in BX or similar.

Well, you'll just have to find a place that sells the tails separately and get some. Try bgmicro.com, sidewindercomputers.com, jab-tech.com, thermalfx.com

I would recommend going to svc.com
I have bought many items from them, and they carry the panaflo tails for a cheap/good price and shipping isn't bad either (you may want to buy a few extra/spare items as well to help with the shipping cost).
I am not sure if this is the item you want, but just do a search if not.

hope this helps.

Yup, that SVC price is excellent. They'll ship FCM w/o insurance (if you ask) - so shipping will be way cheap for only 2 or 3 of them. That's the way to go.
