Panaflo's...Good Airflow?

I have an Antec SX1040B that has all 4 case mounts used with 80mm fans. The ones in the rear are the Antec ones that came with the case. The front bottom is an Enermax thermally controlled, and the one in the HD cage is a Galaxy (?). Since my machine is rather loud (but not that bad), I was thinking about getting the Panaflos to quiet things down, but I don't want to sacrifice airflow to do so. Will I lose a bunch of air? I have 3 HDDs, a GF3, and the CPU has just retail HSF, so there's quite a few things that generate heat...I need them to stay cool, like they do now.

I have the exact same case with 4 L1A's in it. I don't think I gererate as much heat as you, but I can tell you that the fans move more than enough air to keep my rig nice and cool. Very quiet too. Maybe M1A's would be a good compromise for you.

Asus A7v133
900Mhz Thunderbird
IBM 30G
Maxtor 12G
Radeon LE
256 MB Crucial 133

Looking a bit dated. Time to do some upgrading!

Either M1As or H1As on a rheostat or on a 7/12v bus. I noticed a difference between my Sunon fans and my Panaflos with only a minor decrease in CFM.

That'll work fine. I have an 1800 XP w/sk-6 and a 80mm panaflo on the heatsink along with 4 panaflo's for the case. I have 3 hard drives, radeon 7500, burner, dvd-rom, etc. Runs about 35 sometimes 29 if my room is cool:D

Well, if I go up to 35C in my case, that's not what I want. My case runs between 27-29C right now. :)
