hi,
i got a XP1800@1900, alpha 8045 w/ Sunon80mm 2600rpm
enlight 7237 case with one slower 1.6w sunon 80mm sucking in in front, and a 2.1w 2600rpm sunon 80mm blowing out at the back.
Overall, i get ok temps (cpu 39 idle /46 load - now with the heat of course higher, up to 52C on my XP). I think the temps are fine.
However i think overall the noiselevel of the whole system could be a bit lower...
How are the Panaflos compared to the Sunons ? From the specs they look about the same (with the Panas a little bit quieter i think)..but the difference in noiselevel and airflow look almost not worth mentioning to me (except that the panas are more expensive)
Any ideas how i could maybe replace my sunon fans, having the same airflow...but get some more noise reduced ??
EDIT:
I always thought those fans blow out about 39cfm....on newegg's site they claim its 48cfm. They must be wrong..also on sunon's website the ones in question are rated 39 cfm at 32db and not 48cfm !!!
