Panaflo M1A - Doesn't support RPM Sensing?

Hey guys,

I'm about to order a Panaflo M1A, and it says it doesn't support RPM sensing, does this mean that Q-FAN (from my ASUS P4P800-e Deluxe) cannot quiet it down?

I have a coolermaster musketeer also, I'm wondering if that can quiet it down.

Not at all. Just means you cant monitor the speed. My Q-Fan worked on my pannie just fine, but I prefer Speedfan. Much nicer program for controlling fans at certain temps.

Oh. Oh thanks a lot. That helped a lot. So this means I can control the RPM (undervolt it I guess) but I can't view it?

Not bad. Question though: What connector does it come wtih? 3pin or 4pin?

Crap. NewEgg says it comes with 2-pin.
How would I plug this in? (To WHAT is a better question 🙂).

Any help wuold be appreciated.

It has to have BX in the model number to support RPM sensing.

You can get a fan tail for $1 or you can just chop of the "ears" Its shaped like this :H if you chop of the || on it then just plug it in leaving one pin open it works just fine.
