Panaflo L1A 80mms, 24v?

Just got my 3 80MM panaflo L1As in and im looking to quiet down my PC quite a bit. Plan on putting on in the PSU, and 2 in the case (1 front 1 back)

My question is after recieving them ive noticed they are rated for 24v, when all other panasonic fans are rated at 12v. How do you power these things?

It may run with the normal 12 volt connection. It may run if you connect the ground wire to the minus 12v line from the power supply, which will give you 24 volts.

can anyone confirm this before i wire it?

i'm informed by ohers that it probably wont work since the -12v line will probably not have sufficient current carrying capability. There is the possibility that this may damage the ps.
