I just bought a panaflo U1A (it is the 47 cfm type), and was told by the guy that sold it to me that it could blow out the MoBo header if i set it up to draw from the MoBo. (I have an A7V266. See specs in sig)

Is there really a danger, or should i not worry about it.

I have a baybus that I just built, should i hook it up to that and one of the Antecs that came with my SX840?

Thanks for the help

Typically, a baybus is suppose to directly connect to the power supply and from there, fans are connected to the baybus where fan control is by the baybus.

So far, I have an Iwill KK266R with my Enermax fan and a Panaflo fan connected to a y spliter and the other side to the motherboard fan header. I have yet to experience any problem. Nothing should blow as long as you are not trying to draw more than 12 volts through the header.
