Panaflo 80mm HIA Dimensions

I am going to buy a 80mm Panaflo HIA fan and am curious if it will fit into my 80mm fan slot.

See, the problem is the other models of Panaflo's 80mm fans(LIA and MIA) have dimensions of 80x80x25mm.
The HIA has the dimensions of 80x80x25.5mm. I have an Antec SX830 with 80mm fan mounts. If anyone has bought one of these fans before, please inform me wether they fit or not.

Thanx,
SilencerX

It will fit...

I have a chieftech (antec 10xx) case and 4 panaflo l1as, they all fit perfectly. 10xx and 8xx both have the same size fan mounts

Well i don't have that case but here's my 2 cents. 80x80 is the length and height. 25.5 is the width or thickness.
I don't think your gonna have any problems at all. When you say fan mounts do you mean the plastic box that a fan goes inside of? Or just the mounting holes on the case metal itself? In either case we're only talking .5mm, which is hardly anything, and normally would not affect either way of mounting.
Hope this helps.

well, i have that case and on my front mount fans i also have dust filters...the clips on the top and bottom don't completely hold the fan in because of the filters BUT they do hold the fans perfectly stable. so, i would assume you wouldn't have any problems.

In the worst case, you can sand the plastic fan frame down a bit, a quarter of a millimeter on each side shouldn't take too long.

orthancstone: Saruman in da house! 🙂
