Panaflo 3 Pin Tail Adaptor - Help.

..

Greetings -

I just bought myself a new fan and Thermalright AX-7 ... but I didn't notice when I bought it that the fan was tail-less. see it here. So they sell the new cord with tail and connector here.. - but everyone seems to be out of stock. So ... my question is ... what can I do with the leds - how should I hook them up or what should I do, until someone (I've checked three online places) get these in stock?! Help.

www.2cooltek.com has them too 😉

To get you up and running ASAP, you can power the fan by using the 4-pin molex connector from your power supply. The red wire of the fan needs to be on the yellow wire and the black wire on any of the 2 black wires. How you decide to connect the wires to the molex connector is up to you. Just don't short anything because that could kill the power supply and/or harware 😱

Odds are your Panaflo isn't RPM sensing (no -BX suffix on the label). You might as well hook it up to a 4-pin molex like the one at PC Mods.

Spend $8 on a crimp tool and buy a hand full of Molex connectors. Not only is it nice to have the supplies on hand, (for those spontaneous case mods) you will save money in the long run.
