Can't wait for this. Been a fan of the lovely French-Canadian actress Karine Vanasse since she gave a memorable performance in Emporte-Moi at age 15-16 in 1999. She was also fantastic in Marie-Antoinette & Polytechnique more recently. Karine and Christina Ricci have followed similar professional paths as children actors who successfully made the transition to adult roles. Both are now moving from film to television.

Not a fan of the rather unglamorous haircut they gave Karine for her role. 🙁 It's like they tried to 'plainify/uglify' her so she wouldn't outshine Christina for the US audiences. Still has her lovely smile and that mischievous look in her eyes though.😎

I think this show is going to pxss off a lot of people when they see what flying used to be like before metal detectors, airport security, TSA and 9/11 not to mention the unwashed masses dressed worse than the homeless. Include nasty, old Flight Attendants and Stewards and nickel and dime charges for everything or large charges for just changing your flight or name too.
 
All the networks are trying to do 60's shows because of Mad Men. They all are getting cancelled in four weeks either way. Pan Am, Playboy Club.

Really?

It's because flying has become a dirt cheap commodity in the globalized world today. It's now a common transportation just like riding a bus.

I want a $150 flight to LA from BOS without the frills, rather than paying $1200 for it in the 60's.
 
I've heard decent things about it.

worth dvr'ing or watching on hulu, at least (though obv. I won't watch it live over Breaking Bad)

And nowadays you get felt up for free; either by the TSA, or by a fellow passenger's titanic ass. :sneaky:
