Well, KT266A, as the name suggests, can't do FSB333.

Yeah, that was basically the nature of the question...I was wondering if I would fail to get the default clock speed of a Barton due to lacking a 166 MHz FSB.

You can do it, but you'll need an unlocked chip that'll let you ratchet up the multiplier.
