I just got myself a Palm IIIxe today, and I have concluded that they rule.

I just used mine to icq someone, telnet to my school's email server, and browse the web! (this was though the cradle--but still--it was pretty damn cool!)

Now I just need to get the cable to let me do this through my phone.

I should have got one of these ages ago!!

Don't wanna rub it in, but have you tried a Pocket PC? I spent 1 month with Palm only to realize I should have just bought my Jornada 548 1 month earlier :)

Carrying 288MBs of MP3s in your pocket, or maps, word docs, a tape recorder, modem, etc rocks!

But if you're happy that's all that matters.

Secret is simplicity, I want a Pocket PC, but use the hell outta my Palm OS device.

Any of you in medical field, go to Epocrates.com and download their stuff. It saves me a serious amount of time just to sort out trade vs generic names on drugs. Impresses the hell out of my patients when I look up side effects of their meds on my Visor.:)

I have a Palm IIIc, and think its pretty cool. I know the color doesn't add much (if any) functionality, but it sure makes it nice to look at! :)
