That price looks right to me. At normally overpriced B&M retail locations the price has recently fallen from $299 to $249.

The rebate says must be purchased from a palm authorized reseller. IF not Palm will not honor the rebate. You can call the PalmOne rebate center to verify vendors. The lady I spoke to said amazon and newegg are not authorized resellers. Maybe she was mistaken, I don't know. Also, Amazon and newegg are not listed on the Palm website vendor list. Also, I have e-mailed places like newegg and Amazon asking why they provide a rebate link if they are not authorized resellers. Their reply was, they post the link only as a convenience to their customers, but the customer must contact the rebate vendor for details or questions. Just wated to pass along what I was told to help other people out. Anyone else, please share your findings.

Intereseting, If you look up the Tungsten C on the palmone website Amazon is not listed as a reseller. Folks may want to call the palmone rebate center to confirm a specific vendor. The 100 dollar rebate on the Tungsten C would be especially unfortunate to miss out on. Good Luck.

Buy.com has it at $229.99 -$50 rebate then use the $15 off $200 coupon link to bring it down to $164.99 with free shipping. Looks like the best deal right now since Amazon and buy moved their price up.
